The reason many people miss putts is that their face is not pointed where they want the ball to go. I would recommend using either a yardstick or a couple clubs laid parallel on the ground to check your face position. Find a nice straight putt, and align the yardstick or 2 clubs straight at the cup. Then set your putter down and confirm that the face is square to your intended line. Most folks aren't very good at aiming! If you want to try a training aid, I would visit www.eyelinegolf.com and check out their putting systems. Hope this helps...let me know!
